Mr Rayroux is the co-head of the banking and finance group of Lenz & Staehelin in Geneva. He advises a number of Swiss and international financial institutions in all banking and regulatory matters, with a particular focus on funds management and distribution as well as all types of financial products, in particular derivative instruments. Mr Rayroux is a frequent speaker at professional conferences on banking and financial law issues. Mr Rayroux offers legal advice to banks and securities dealers. He is considered as a leading lawyer in banking and financial services in Switzerland. Mr Rayroux has been nominated by various professional organisations as an expert in Switzerland in banking and financial as well as capital markets law, including by Chambers in 2010 and by the International Law Office winner of the ILO Client Choice Award 2011 for Banking Law as a leading individual in Investment Funds and Private Banking/Asset Management. He is a member of the Legal and Compliance Committee of the Swiss Funds Association and also the author of the ISDA Netting Opinion for Switzerland.
Mr Rayroux has been a partner at Lenz & Staehelin since 1998. Mr Rayroux obtained an LLM from the University of Chicago Law School in 1990. He has a business degree (1986) and law degree (1993) from Zurich University.
